Encounter
At Encounter, teens have the opportunity to ask questions, study God's Word, and be challenged in their faith alongside their peers. Our leaders are intentional about encouraging, supporting, and engaging with students and our goal is to come alongside teens as they pursue a deeper relationship with Christ.
6th through 12th Grades
Youth Group
Encounter meets on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. This is a great time for teens to come and hang out with their friends, enjoy contemporary worship, dive into a deeper look at scripture, and develop accountability and support through small group time. It is an awesome opportunity to strengthen relationships with each other and grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and who He created them to be.

Events
We love getting to spend time together throughout the week and so we have a lot of events focused on having fun and growing together! Some events include the Amazing Race, Valley Student Conference, snow tubing, missions trips, theme parks, community outreach, dance camp, Christmas party, lake days, game nights, pool parties, and a ton more! One Heart Dance Team
Radford's One Heart dance team is a group of girls who present dances that honor God and are an act of worship. The goal as a dance team is to establish a heart attitude of worship, create encouraging relationships with each other, connect with the community around us, and to honor God.
Dance Team
6th through 12th Grade
The One Heart dance team is for middle school and high school girls. They meet weekly during dance season to learn dances that are created and choreographed by our senior girls. The group dances for church services, Christmas programs and other special events. Our leaders help our girls develop an attitude of worship and community. The student leaders are each assigned a “sister” that they will invest in and encourage throughout the season. The dance team is an incredible community that will uplift and encourage girls who participate.
Dance Camp
5-12 years old
Dance camp is one of the most exciting programs at Radford! This week long program created by our dance team, invests in the younger girls in our community. Each day the girls work on their team dance and practice a huge group dance. When they are not dancing, the girls play games, make crafts, hear Bible lessons, or personal stories from counselors and leaders. It is a lot of fun and a great opportunity to share the love of Jesus with those around us.
