When Sight and Sound Theater says, “We are passionate about bringing the Bible to life”, they are not exaggerating; and we would say from our experience, they do it very well. What started 40 years ago as a family business/ministry today attracts about a million people a year to one of the top three theater destinations in the USA. With its 2000 seat auditorium, its 300 ft. stage which surrounds the audience on three sides, and its state-of-the-art technology Sight and Sound is able to visualize and dramatize the Scriptures in an accurate and inspiring way that will touch your heart.
Among the ten shows we have seen, there are the stories of Adam and Eve, Moses, Jonah and Noah. In all of them, we have been impressed with the high quality of acting, singing, stage effects, live animals on stage, and overall production.
In March, Radford Baptist plans to travel to Lancaster to see JESUS, which tells the amazing story of the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior. This will be a special treat for all who are able to go.
