Our music is one example of our diversity. Although Radford is committed to a wide range of contemporary and progressive musical expressions, we also recognize the great value of tapping into our rich two thousand years of worship music tradition. More important to us than the style of our music is the spirit of our worship… from the heart, in spirit and in truth.
We have a band that is instrumental in setting the tone of our worship. Piano, keyboard, guitars, both electric and acoustical, bass, drums, and a clarinet and violin are regular parts of the band, leading us in powerful anthems as well as creating an environment for meditative response.
The Praise Choir is an important part of the music ministry because they lead the congregation into the presence of God. This leading is accomplished by providing a living example of people that are worshiping our Savior not only in song, but by the lives they live.
The Band and Praise Choir are seeking people that are willing to make a joyful noise to the Lord and who desire to worship God not only on Sunday morning but every day through the way they live. The band practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00, and the Praise Choir practice from 8:00 - 9:00.
