Nursery
January, February and March Nursery Rotation 2012
It is our desire to serve families by offering a loving, fun, and safe environment where infants and toddlers can be cared for while parents and guardians participate in activities that help them grow in their faith.
Suggestions for making your child’s visit a positive experience:
- Arrive early with your child recently fed so the transition into the nursery is a pleasant experience.
- Provide a small diaper bag clearly labeled with your child’s first and last name, and emergency contact number.
- Sippy cup or bottles of prepared formula that are permanently labeled.
- Extra diapers & wipes
- Pacifier – clip-on type and labeled
- Change of clothes
- Pick up your child as quickly as possible after the service in consideration of our volunteers.
Help us avoid spreading sickness, so children with the following symptoms in the last twenty-four hours should not be admitted to the nursery:
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Green or cloudy runny noses
- Inflamed throat or mouth
- Fever
- Runny eyes
- Croup, coughing, sneezing
- lice
- Symptoms of childhood diseases (scarlet fever, mumps, chicken pox, measles)
- Skin infections (boils, ringworm, impetigo, staph)
No medications will be dispensed by workers. Parents will dispense all medications. Please inform the workers of any medical or security needs upon check-in.
*Due to a food allergy we only serve snacks that have been approved. So we ask parents not to bring snacks for your child. Approved snacks will be provided during the Sunday Morning Celebration. We try to keep the entire nursery area free of any food that hasn’t been approved in order to avoid any potential problems. If your child has any food allergies, please make your child’s care giver aware of it. Thanks you for your cooperation.
